Arun is a globally connected communication and development sector expert. He is one of those few professionals who have been working across sectors and genres with élan and ease, be it policy advocacy or developing communication strategy, be it a highly charged newsroom or corporate boardrooms. Blending cause, creativity and business is his Mantra.

With more than 25 years’ experience at the media & communication domain as well as social/development sector, Arun worked at the best brands like BBC in London, Star TV, Tata Teleservices at senior positions. While as a business leader, consultant and entrepreneur, he managed few innovative businesses in the content & Communication domain, as a hands-on professional he managed newsrooms, trained more than 1500 news media professionals in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and produced/directed more than 500 digital videos in vernacular languages, short films and advertising films.

At the leadership position in the sustainability and CSR domain Arun has been leading New Delhi based non-profit thinktank – Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) which works for sustainability and responsible business. He works closely with CXO level corporate professionals as well as senior government officials and international/national development agencies. Arun envisaged and organised large international Events and created public private multi-stakeholder’s platforms promoting Corporate Responsibility. He has been leading the creative and production process of all the content collaterals including a Coffee-table book for 1st National CSR Awards organized by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt of India.

Arun has been speaking as specialist, panellist or member of jury at prestigious forums like International film festival of India (IFFI), culture summit at Nehru Centre UK, Majaz foundation UK, World Hindi Summit, New Delhi Institute of Management, SAARC CXO summit, Digital Matters Singapore, India and Sustainability Standards: International Dialogue & Conference, Indus Forum (India-Netherlands Sustainability), CSR-Europe international Conclave, Institute of Professional Studies, Nanavati College, Mumbai, Lucknow Youth Festival, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) New Delhi and many more.
